Helping moms and daughters build a positive relationship with their bodies, food, and each other, to stop the cycle of disordered eating and body shaming.
Are you still clutching on to the ideas and rules of food that you learned from your mother?
Are you ready to release the negative thoughts and rules about food and exercise that you learned from adolescence?
Are you ready to model a positive relationship with food and exercise for your daughter?
You and I will work together to recreate your relationship with food and exercise so you feel strong, confident and empowered. You will be the role model for your daughter that you always hoped and wished for when you were a young girl.
WHAT TO EXPECT
You will learn how to let go of the harmful beliefs and memories about food and your body that have kept you stuck in this feeling of “ick”. You will replace that feeling with compassion, confidence, trust in your body, and freedom.
You will receive one-on-one support as you go through this process, and walk side-by-side with you as you rediscover your body’s natural desire for nourishment and movement.
You will rediscover foods and flavors that you enjoy but previously considered off-limits.
You’ll take back the power that food has had over you.
You will build self-compassion and make peace with your body, and start engaging in physical activity for the joy of movement rather than pounding out painful workouts that only bring you frustration and anxiety.
